Julie was admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales on 7 October 2010. She has since been admitted as a solicitor in Queensland and the High Court of Australia.

Julie graduated from the University of South Africa with a Bachelor of Laws and holds a RG146 in Financial Planning from Kaplan Professional. She has a broad range and wealth of experience, having worked in various industries across multiple jurisdictions including Deloitte – London (UK), HSBC Bank – Cayman Islands and Wolff Taitinger Lawyers – Canada and is passionate and committed to providing practical solutions to meet her clients’ needs. Her legal experience includes providing estate planning services within private practice and more recently a trustee organisation, which focused on providing sophisticated and tailored advice to high net worth private clients.

Since being admitted as a solicitor, Julie has dedicated herself to the area of Succession Law which allows her to:

– assist high net worth individuals with estate and asset protection;
– help clients with disabled children attend to estate planning;
– assist executors with the administration of estates;
– assist with capacity issues in estate planning; and
– assist clients to fulfil their philanthropic wishes.

In January 2016, Julie became an affiliated member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP). STEP is the worldwide professional association for practitioners dealing with family inheritance and succession planning.

By joining STEP, she is able to draw upon a network of colleagues and an ever expanding body of theory, precedent and industry developments to further the interests of her valued clients.
