It is with a sense of nostalgia that I write to you to inform you that 27 April 2018 will be the last day that Cooke & Hutchinson Lawyers operates from its premises at Bluewater Square. On Monday 30 April 2018 our main office will be located at Level 1, Suite 205, 53 Endeavour Boulevard North Lakes.
I can assure you that there are mixed emotions about the move of our main office to North Lakes. The firm has been on the Peninsula exclusively for most of the firm’s history dating back to our founder Barry Cooke in the 1950’s. I was born on the peninsula, grew up on the peninsula and still have family that lives on the peninsula. I love the peninsula and all it has to offer.
The fact of the matter is that North Lakes is fast becoming a major commercial hub for the Moreton Bay Region and for South-East Queensland. It has attracted international businesses like Ikea and Redcliffe Peninsula icons like the Village Motors group. The firm is about being accessible and providing quality fixed price professional services to the entire Moreton Bay Region not just a few different parts of it and the move of the main office to North Lakes will help us in that endeavour.
It is of critical importance that the firm is able to continue to deliver to all of our valued clients through our fixed price service offerings and 100% guaranteed solutions no matter who our client is. The locality of our office to a central hub is an important part of that equation.
Our loyal client base at Redcliffe will not be forgotten. A visited office for appointments with those who would continue to prefer to see us close to our old offices in Bluewater Square is available at 127 Sutton Street, Redcliffe by appointment. Our elderly clients will continue to have the option of a home visit if that is their preference.
