Gary is a Legal Practice Director of the business, having acquired his brother John’s share in February 2005 (after operating in partnership with John for a period of 27 years.)

Gary was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1975 and was admitted as a Solicitor of the High Court of Australia in 1991.

Gary has lived on the Redcliffe Peninsula since 1977 and in that time has gained a wealth of experience in estate planning (wills, enduring powers of attorney, advance health directives, asset protection etc.), estate administration and litigation, elder law, commercial, business and property transactions.

Gary has been a Senior Counsellor of the Queensland Law Society since
Gary is committed to protecting the interest of his clients and always strives to obtain the best possible result for those clients.

Initially Daniel joined our firm in June 2001 as a student and part time employee and embarked on a career path which resulted in his admission as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland on 5 November 2007 and a Solicitor of the High Court of Australia on 15 August 2008.

Daniel holds a Law Degree and a Business Degree from the Queensland University of Technology. Daniel has gained considerable experience in the Wills & Estates section of this practice and spends most of his time practicing in that area of law.  Daniel is now a Legal Practice Director of the firm and has gained the confidence and trust of his peers and clients alike.

Daniel is the current President of the Redcliffe and Pine Rivers District Law Association.

As the founding partner of Cooke & Hutchinson John operated in partnership with Gary for a period of 27 years before retiring from the practice in February 2005 at which time he was made a consultant.

Until recently, John and his family had resided on the Redcliffe Peninsula for over 30 years.

John was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 1971 and was admitted as a Solicitor of the High Court of Australia in 1975.

Whilst John’s experience was predominantly in personal injury litigation, he has also developed expertise in commercial and property transactions.

John has been an outstanding citizen and Redcliffe lawyer for the most of his life and is highly regarded by fellow practitioners and clients.
